We think of Spring and Summer bringing in bright and fresh colors, but the Autumn palate is replete with vivid reds of peppers apples and cranberries, greens of cabbages and kale, purple of eggplants and potatoes, browns of celery root and so much more. The pond has leaves of all colors afloat, and the merriment of wildlife preparing for winter. It is awash in color – a rainbow like no other.
